O Holy Night

I have finally finished my Nativity Scene. I admit, I had a lot of fun with this one. I tried to strike that perfect balance between the cute artistic flair I love and the reverence the scene deserves. I really hope you all like it.

Welcome to my world!!

First of all...
Let me introduce myself. My name is Becky. I am a creative artistic and all around simply slendid single mother of two...and apparently I have far too much time on my hands. I am obsessed (and not in a healthy way) with holidays and decorating for said holidays. However, lucky for all of you, I have chosen to share my obsession with the world. I am a firm believer in waste not, want not. I love to make something out of nothing...taking simple items around the house and turning them into something new and fun. That being said, my latest obsession has been light bulbs. Yes, light bulbs. It sounds bizarre and totally out there, but I have had a total blast coming up with new designs to turn ho-hum light bulbs into adorable ornaments. I've started this blog to showcase my lightbulbs and hopefully get the word around about these fabulous little diddys. Also, it gives me an outlet to show off my little creations and savor my own little "proud mama" moments so...ENJOY!!

This is me....surrounded by monkeys...gotta love my life....no matter how crazy...it's a beautiful thing
